Tech N9ne – “Seepage” review

Just 3 months after releasing his worst Collabos album The Gates Mixed Plate, Kansas City indie hip hop icon Tech N9ne is now returning with his 2nd EP. The first song on here is the title track, where Tech is talking about darkness taking over him & the beat has this Halloween vibe to it. The song “alucarD” sees Tech comparing himself to Dracula & while it is interesting, the beat is a bit generic. The song “Bite Me” has these dope violins throughout, but the sex bars on here kinda make me uncomfortable. The EP then closes with “Trippin’ Comin'”, which has an instrumental with a semi-uplifting feeling to it & Tech’s basically talking about some gang shit. While it’s not as great as his previous EP The Lost Scripts of K.O.D. (King Of Darkness), most of these tracks are still pretty enjoyable

Score: 3.5/5
