Necro – “The Pre-fix for Death” review

After releasing a solid debut album & a classic sophomore effort, Brooklyn horrorcore MC/producer Necro is back with his 3rd full-length album & this is EASILY the best work of his career. Both the live instrumentation (this is his very 1st album to feature such) and the fusion of death metal & hip hop are PERFECT! The horrorcore rhymes on here are as creative as ever too (listen to Food for Thought if you don’t believe me). The album even features guest appearances from those such as Obituary vocalist John Tardy, Voivod drummer Away & even Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson. If you’re a fan of bands like Death & you’re looking to get into hip hop music, I’d HIGHLY recommend starting out with this

Score: 5/5
